You become part of NCBC by joining your local Black chamber or regional business alliance. NCBC connects and supports all of these organizations at the statewide level.

Are there membership dues?

Dues vary by local chamber and membership tier. Solopreneur and Community Supporter tiers start at low annual rates, while Corporate Investor partnerships are customized.

Can corporations or institutions join?

Yes. Corporate and institutional partners are encouraged to join and support the Black business community through sponsorships, programs, and strategic initiatives across NC.

What types of businesses can join?

Any Black-owned business, social enterprise, or non-profit operating in North Carolina is welcome — from solo founders and freelancers to mid-size firms and large community institutions.
